People who had Omicron do not have to take antigen test at work 30 days after positive PCR test

People who get a positive PCR test for Covid-19 will be exempt from testing at work or at school for 30 days and will not have to go into quarantine, the Czech government announced on Wednesday. The decision was made in light of incidents where people who were returning to work after self-isolating were still testing positive in their antigen tests.

Health Minister Vlastimil Válek said that people who have recovered from the omicron variant, were in isolation and had a positive PCR test are de-facto without risk for the next 30 days.
