People in Need collection for Ukraine reaches CZK 1.7 billion

The Czech non-profit organisation People in Need says it has already collected CZK 1.7 billion within its SOS Ukraine drive. To date it has provided aid to people in Ukraine affected by Russia’s war on the country in the amount of CZK 428 million.

People in Need delivers drinking water, foodstuffs, hygiene products and financial aid to people in Ukraine itself. It also runs advisory and assistance centres for Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic.
