Pavel will receive the Chief State Prosecutor and the President of the Judges' Union

On Wednesday afternoon, President Petr Pavel will first receive the president of the Czech Judges' Union, Libor Vávra, followed by the Supreme State Prosecutor, Lenka Bradáčová.

Bradáčová took office in April, succeeding Igor Stříž. Upon assuming the role, she stated that her priorities include addressing juvenile and child crime, unifying sentencing practices, and modernizing the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office by enhancing its information systems, analytics, and cybercrime capabilities. She also aims to focus on crimes related to corruption and hate speech, which she believes pose a threat to the security and stability of the state. Additionally, she would like to reduce the number of tiers in the prosecution system from four to three.
