Over 2.5 million in CR now fully vaccinated against Covid

Over 2.5 million people have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in the Czech Republic, which has a population of 10.7 million. Around 4.7 million people in the country have received at least one dose of a Covid vaccine, representing 44 percent of the total populace.

Experts say the level of vaccination is the main reason infections with the virus have fallen markedly. On Saturday only 63 new cases of Covid were recorded in the country, while the number hospitalised has fallen to 73.
