Over 236,000 visas granted to Ukrainian refugees

The Czech Republic has provided visas to 236,585 Ukrainian refugees, according to Interior Ministry data released on Monday morning. The actual number of Ukrainians seeking shelter in the country is believed to be around 300,000. Almost half of them are children and 80 percent of the adults are women.

Since Russia attacked Ukraine in late February over 128,000 Ukrainians have registered with the Czech migration police.
