Over 2,000 Covid cases on one day for first time since April

Some 2,031 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Czechia on Monday. It was the first time over 2,000 cases were recorded on one day since April, and the tally was over one-third higher than seven days previously.

The number of people hospitalised with the coronavirus rose to over 300 on Monday, but the number of critical cases remained steady.
