Outgoing coalition parties request special session of lower house over Babiš’ conflict of interest
The parties of the outgoing coalition have requested a special session of the lower house over ANO leader and likely future prime minister Andrej Babiš´ conflict of interest. The head of the Christian Democrats parliamentary group Tom Philipp confirmed that the party had gathered the required 40 signatures and had filed the proposal on Tuesday. At the session, Mr. Babiš will be asked to explain how he intends to resolve the conflict of interest stemming from his ownership of the multi-billion crown conglomerate Agrofert should he be appointed prime minister.
