Opposition ANO party maintaining strong edge over rivals in November poll
The opposition ANO party maintains a strong edge over its rivals and would win parliamentary elections with 33.5 percent of the vote, according to the results of a November poll conducted by the Median agency. The Civic Democrats of the ruling coalition would get 11.5 percent and the Mayors and Independents would get 10 percent. Four other parties would cross the five-percent threshold needed to win seats in the lower house - the Pirate Party, the Freedom and Direct Democracy Party, the Communist Party and the Motorists, who would each receive 6.5 percent of the vote.
