Olga Havlová Prize goes to Burn Fighters project co-founder
This year's Olga Havlová Prize has been awarded to Martina Půtová, co-founder of Burn Fighters, an organisation that helps burn victims recover from their injuries.
The prize, established in the name of the late First Lady, who died of cancer, aims to celebrate people with disabilities and who selflessly help others.
Půtová, who lost her sight due to a serious burn, is also involved in the Visits in the Dark project, which helps connect blind people with lonely seniors.
