Okamura party politician found guilty of Holocaust denial over Lety remark

A court in Prague has found former MP Miloslav Rozner guilty of Holocaust denial over a statement he made about Lety, a World War II concentration camp for Romanies in Southern Bohemia. Mr. Rozner, who is from Tomio Okamura’s Freedom and Direct Democracy, got a suspended sentence for calling Lety a “non-existent pseudo concentration camp” in 2017.

The one-time deputy said he had merely criticised a government decision to buy a pig farm on the site. Mr. Rozner may appeal the verdict.
