Official: Zeman plans Slovakia trip, would like to visit China
The Czech president, Miloš Zeman, plans trips to attend a Visegrad Four summit in Slovakia and would also like to visit Serbia and China before his term ends next March, the director of his office’s foreign affairs section, Rudolf Jindrák, told the Czech News Agency.
The official said that the head of state was also looking forward to visits from the presidents of Montenegro and Egypt and would like to welcome representatives of EU states who attend a summit held within the current Czech presidency of the bloc.
Mr. Jindrák rejected the suggestion that Mr. Zeman’s office had been little involved in the foreign affairs arena in recent months.
