Number of new Covid-19 cases lowest since early July
The Czech Republic registered 74 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, which was the lowest increase for the day since July 11, suggest the Ministry of Health Data. On average, there were less than 14 cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days.
The number of Covid-19 cases has been steadily decreasing since early March. Over 1.66 million people in the Czech Republic contracted the virus since the pandemic hit the country and 30,225 people died of Covid related complications.
