Number of new COVID-19 cases in Czechia fell below 300 on Friday

The number of newly registered cases of COVID-19 in the Czech Republic on Friday reached 293, according to data on the website of the Ministry of Health. That is 36 cases fewer than were discovered on Thursday.

A total of 19,693 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the Czech Republic since the pandemic reached the country. Around 70 percent of patients have since recovered, while 394 have died. The amount of people currently fighting the virus, some 5,567, is at a record high.
