Number of current Covid-19 cases exceeds 5,000

Saturday saw 175 freshly detected cases of Covid-19 in the Czech Republic, the lowest figure this week, according to Czech Health Ministry statistics.

The number of current detected cases is 5,081. The total number of known cases of the virus since the start of March stood at 18,235 on Sunday morning. To date 389 people have died with Covid-19 and 12,765 have recovered fro the disease.
