Number of coronavirus cases on Saturday hit 10 month low

Saturday saw 334 new cases of the coronavirus detected in the Czech Republic, the lowest weekend number since the end of August last year, according to data from the Ministry of Health. On average, there were 47 cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days.

40,294 people were inoculated with a COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday, which is a new weekend record. Thus far, 4,6 million jabs have been distributed in the Czech Republic.
