Norway may take Czech Republic off “safe” destinations list
Norway is considering taking the Czech Republic off its “safe” destinations list and reintroducing a mandatory 10-day quarantine for people coming from the Czech Republic, the ctk news agency reported.
The Czech Foreign Ministry has confirmed the information, which appeared in the Norwegian media on Monday, saying the Norwegian Institute of Public Health had recommended the measure and the Norwegian Ministry of Health would reach a decision on the matter on Friday.
A similar recommendation has been issued with regard to Switzerland and Poland, where the number of coronavirus cases are also on the rise.
