Non-alcoholic beer accounted for 12% of Pilsner Urquell's sales last year

Non-alcoholic beer accounted for 12% of the brewing company Pilsner Urquell’s sales in 2024, Pavlína Kalousová from the company told ČTK on Tuesday. Twenty years ago, the share was 1%. According to the brewery, this is due to a change in lifestyle; people are living more actively and most of them go to restaurants for fun and a pleasant experience, approaching alcohol consumption more responsibly than before. Young people aged 18 to 39 are especially more moderate.
