Nosková reaches WTA Finals for first time
Czech Wimbledon champion Linda Nosková, who is 21, will compete in the WTA Finals for the first time this year. The season-ending tournament will be held in Indian Wells from November 8 to 15, and the Czech Republic could have as many as three representatives.
Kateřina Siniaková, who is world no. 1 in doubles, had already secured her place in the tournament. Four spots remain available in the singles draw, with Karolína Muchová, the beaten Wimbledon finalist, currently holding the last qualifying position.
The WTA Finals features the top eight women’s singles players of the year and the top eight doubles teams.
