Czech-US memorandum aims to boost business cooperation

Czech Business Incubator Atlanta (CIBA) and US organisation Locate South Georgia signed a memorandum in Prague on Friday to strengthen economic ties and help Czech companies enter the US market.

CBIA co-founder Ladislav Chodák said smaller Czech firms often lacked the confidence to expand into the United States. He also noted that many Czech products reach the American market indirectly through Germany. Opportunities for Czech businesses include engineering, aerospace, IT and the automotive industry.

US Ambassador to Czechia Nicholas Merrick, who attended the signing, highlighted the role of economic prosperity in supporting stability and peace and expressed hope that more Czech companies would establish operations in the United States.
