Two Czech nationals charged in Cambodia in drug-related case
Two Czech nationals have been detained in Cambodia and charged in connection with drug-related offences, Czech Foreign Ministry spokesperson Adam Čörgő told the Czech News Agency on Friday.
The Czech diplomatic service is in contact with the two and providing standard consular assistance. The ministry will not disclose further details while the legal proceedings are ongoing.
In a separate case in 2016, a Czech woman was detained in Cambodia along with several other foreign nationals. She was initially charged with producing and selling drugs, but the charges were later changed to possession of narcotics.
