Czechia keeping diplomatic mission in Kyiv despite Russian warning
The Czech Republic will not withdraw its diplomatic mission from Kyiv in response to a Russian warning linked to announced further massive strikes on Ukraine. Foreign Ministry spokesman Adam Čörgő said that similar warnings from Moscow were nothing new and Czech diplomats would remain in place for the time being. He added that the ministry would take necessary steps in accordance with its emergency procedures.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry on Saturday urged foreigners, including diplomatic mission staff, not to travel to Ukraine or remain in the country. It said the Russian military would launch “massive retaliatory strikes”.
