President Pavel visits US National Guard base in Nebraska

President Petr Pavel visited a US National Guard base in Nebraska on Thursday. The Czech armed forces have cooperated with the Nebraska National Guard for more than 30 years.

The US representatives highlighted the benefits of the partnership for both sides, saying they have plenty to learn from their Czech counterparts.

Pavel met with National Guard leadership at its base in Lincoln. He was then shown some of the aircraft stationed there and flew in UH-60 Black Hawk and UH-72 Lakota helicopters.
