Composer and conductor Gustav Mahler: Searching for the meaning of life
Gustav Mahler was taught by musicians in Jihlava and developed a deep sensitivity to the musical culture of the region, which later found its way into his work, alongside elements of Jewish folk music. He was a phenomenal conductor and is considered one of the greatest composers of symphonic music of all time.
