Czech gas storage facilities nearly 70 percent full

Gas storage facilities in Czechia were nearly 70 percent full at the beginning of September, according to the Ministry of Industry and the Energy Regulatory Office.

The country has thus met the EU’s interim storage targets for this period, although its reserves are slightly lower than in previous years.

According to the ministry, despite the slower pace of storage filling, there should be enough gas to meet demand over the coming winter.
