Seven injured in train-vehicle collision near Prostějov

Seven people were injured when a train collided with a municipal services vehicle at a level crossing between Kostelec na Hané and Prostějov on Wednesday afternoon. Three people suffered moderate injuries, mostly fractures, and were taken to Olomouc University Hospital. Three others sustained minor injuries, including bruises and abrasions. Rail traffic on the track has been suspended.

Police spokesman Libor Hejtman said the crossing was unprotected and had no barriers.
