CzechTrade and CzechInvest to merge into single agency

The state agencies CzechTrade and CzechInvest are due to merge into a single entity named CzechBusiness from the start of next month. The minister of industry and trade, Karel Havlíček, said the new body would offer entrepreneurs the same services in one place and that the move would deliver cost savings. Mr. Havlíček said other European countries, such as Finland and Sweden, had consolidated their support for businesses in a similar manner.
