Krkonoše National Park operators warn of wildfire risk as temperatures rise

The administrators of the Krkonoše National Park in the north of the country have called on visitors to report any signs of a potential fire immediately. They also warned against lighting candles at memorials or shrines and the use of portable stoves in the countryside. Temperatures in Czechia in the coming days will approach 40 degrees Celsius, creating an increased risk of wildfires, an official told reporters.
