Krejčí secures World Cup double in Prague, Beková tops kayak cross time trial

Czech canoeist Jakub Krejčí capped a successful weekend at the Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague-Troja by winning the kayak cross event on Sunday. After triumphing in the traditional slalom on Friday, he secured his second victory of the weekend by finishing ahead of fellow Czech Vít Přindiš in the final. Another Czech, Matyáš Novák, was eliminated in the semi-finals.

Earlier in the day, Kateřina Beková posted the fastest time in the women's kayak cross time trial, finishing seven hundredths of a second ahead of Germany's Ricarda Funk. France's Marjorie Delassus placed third.

Beková later reached the quarter-finals of the kayak cross knockout competition, where she was joined by fellow Czech Tereza Kneblová. Olga Samková was eliminated in the round of 16. The women's title went to France's Camille Prigent.
