Czech soldier quarantined after return from Congo amid Ebola concerns
A Czech soldier has been placed in quarantine after returning from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which is fighting an outbreak of Ebola. He has shown no symptoms and is being monitored at the military’s specialised Biological Protection Centre in Těchonín.
Late last month an American doctor who had come into contact with the virus was admitted to Prague’s Bulovka Hospital for observation and testing. He has also not shown any symptoms of the disease.
