President Pavel welcomes Finnish President Stubb at Prague Castle
President Petr Pavel welcomed Finland’s head of state, Alexander Stubb, at Prague Castle on Monday morning. They are expected to discuss, among other topics, continued support for Ukraine and strengthening the European pillar of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Discussions are also expected to cover the situation in the Middle East and the security of strategic maritime routes.
A private meeting between the presidents is scheduled first, followed by talks between their delegations. Shortly before noon, the presidents will comment on the meeting at a press conference.
