Foreign national confesses to attack on Russian facility in Prague

A foreign national has confessed to a Molotov cocktail attack on a Russian facility in Prague last week, the Czech police said on Tuesday. The individual, who has been detained, said they had been planning the attack on the Russian Center for Science and Culture, which is near the city’s Russian Embassy, since summer last year.

Senior Czech officials condemned Thursday’s incident, which was described by a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry as an act of barbarism.
