Cyber incidents in Czechia above average in February

The number of cyber incidents in Czechia remained above average in February, with 23 cases recorded, the National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NÚKIB) said on Tuesday. The monthly average last year was about 17 incidents.

Most of the February incidents were classified as less serious, while two were considered significant. The agency did not record any very serious incidents.

In total, NÚKIB registered 203 cyber incidents in 2025, fewer than a year earlier. The highest monthly figure on record remains October 2024, when authorities detected 47 incidents.
