No rise in Czech terror threat level but increased monitoring at some sites

Czechia has not increased the level of threat of terrorism in view of the conflict in the Middle East. The minister of the interior, Lubomír Metnar, said after a cabinet meeting on Monday that there was no information to suggest any potential danger to the country.

Mr. Metnar said, however, that the police were stepping up security at Radio Free Europe, diplomatic facilities of the US, Israel and Palestine, and some sites associated with the Jewish Community.
