Czech economy grows by 2.5 percent in 2025
The Czech economy grew by 2.5 percent last year, according to a preliminary estimate released on Friday by the Czech Statistics Office (ČSÚ). This represents almost double the growth recorded in 2024, when GDP rose by 1.3 percent. The 2025 result is also the strongest since 2022.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, GDP increased year-on-year by 2.4 percent and quarter-on-quarter by 0.5 percent. Full-year growth was driven mainly by domestic demand, statisticians said.
