Prague residents can vote on name of new bridge

From Tuesday, Prague residents can vote on whether the new bridge connecting Podolí and Zlíchov in the south of the city should be named Dvorecký or Anežky České, city spokesman Vít Hofman announced. Voting is open via the Prague Citizen Portal or by using paper ballots available at municipal offices.

The poll closes on Monday, February 9, and the final decision will be made by the city councillors. Construction of the bridge began in September 2022 and it is scheduled to open in April 2026.
