Czech biathletes finish fifth in Ruhpolding World Cup relay
Czech biathletes Jessica Jislová, Lucie Charvátová, Tereza Voborníková and Tereza Vinklárková finished fifth in the women’s World Cup relay in Ruhpolding, Germany, largely thanks to excellent shooting.
Competing without their leading athlete, Markéta Davidová, the Czech team delivered clean performances across the first three legs, recording the best shooting result of the race. However, a slower final leg ultimately cost them a higher placing. Norway won the relay by less than a second ahead of Italy, with Sweden taking third place.
The Ruhpolding World Cup continues on Thursday with the men’s relay.
