Czech snowboarder Zuzana Maděrová wins silver in Davos World Cup slalom

Czech snowboarder Zuzana Maděrová finished second in the parallel slalom at the Snowboard World Cup event in Davos on Saturday, narrowly missing out on her first career victory. The final against Italy’s Elisa Caffontová was decided by a photo finish.

The 22-year-old claimed her fourth World Cup medal and her second silver. She has now finished in the top four in all five parallel events this Olympic season, with women competing in slalom for the first time this winter.
