Babiš's government is expected to reject emissions allowances and migration pact
The first regular meeting of the government of Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) is on the agenda on Tuesday, following its appointment by President Petr Pavel on Monday. The ministers are expected to reject the ETS 2 emissions trading system and the EU migration pact in their resolutions, and they will also approve changes to the building law. They will discuss the mandate for Babiš for the upcoming EU summit. Upon Babiš’s proposal, they may also appoint the Czech ambassador to Vietnam, Hynek Kmoníček, as an advisor for national security.
