Okamura becomes Speaker of Chamber of Deputies

The leader of SPD, Tomio Okamura, has become the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies. The candidate of the incoming coalition of the ANO movement, SPD, and Motorists Themselves defeated KDU-ČSL nominee Jan Bartošek in today’s secret vote during the inaugural session of the lower house.
