Over 2,800 stores to join autumn food collection drive

Roughly 2,800 brick-and-mortar shops across the Czech Republic will take part in Saturday’s autumn round of the National Food Collection, up from around 2,250 last year. Donations of food and hygiene products will also be accepted through six e-shops, beginning Tuesday for a two-week period. The Czech Federation of Food Banks organizes the collection twice a year. Saturday’s collection in brick-and-mortar shops will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
