Czechia to purchase 24 light armored Iveco vehicles

The Ministry of Defence will purchase 24 light armored Iveco vehicles for 538 million crowns excluding VAT. The ministry informed the government about the purchase on Wednesday, with further details provided in a press release by the state-owned Military Technical Institute (VTÚ), which is cooperating with the ministry on the contract. The army will receive the vehicles by 2030, and they are intended to be used, among other things, for reconnaissance. The purchase follows up on a contract discussed by the government in February, which included 15 vehicles for the artillery.
