Friends and colleagues to honour Dana Drábová in Prague

Friends and colleagues of Dana Drábová, the long-time head of the State Office for Nuclear Safety, will gather on Thursday at Prague’s Forum Karlín to remember her life and work.

The event, organised by the Gift for Putin initiative, Post Bellum and the Havloids Memorial Club, will feature memories of the respected nuclear expert and public figure, along with live music.

Drábová died on October 6 after a long illness at the age of 64. She did not wish to have a public funeral. Organisers have asked guests not to bring flowers or gifts but instead to support charities helping single parents or Ukraine.
