Government to decide in November whether to resubmit 2026 budget to Parliament

The government will evaluate ANO coalition developments at the beginning of November and decide whether it will send the draft state budget for 2026 back to the Chamber of Deputies. Outgoing Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS) stated this on Monday on X. ANO, along with SPD and Motorists, is urging the budget to be sent back to the Chamber. The current government had previously considered this unnecessary, reminding that the parties forming the new cabinet had criticized the budget proposal before the elections.
