Czech property sales rise by 15%

In the third quarter of this year, property owners sold nearly 22,000 apartments, houses, and cottages, which is almost 15 percent more than last year. Prices increased across all segments and regions compared to the same period last year. The average price of an apartment rose by 10 percent to 5.1 million CZK. Family houses went up by 12.4 percent to an average of 6.7 million CZK, and cottages increased by 9.2 percent to nearly 3 million CZK. This is according to an analysis by the real estate platform Reas.cz, which is available to ČTK.
