Czech gunmaker Česká zbrojovka posts higher profit and sales, driven by US demand
Czech firearms manufacturer Česká zbrojovka reported a net profit of CZK 1.03 billion last year, up by about CZK 120 million from the previous year. Sales exceeded CZK 6 billion, compared with CZK 5.85 billion a year earlier.
It was the company’s second-best result ever, following a record year in 2022. The United States remained Česká zbrojovka’s key market, accounting for roughly 40 percent of all weapons sold.
Revenue from sales to armed forces rose by 11 percent, while commercial sales slipped 4 percent. The profit increase was supported by stable energy prices, a favorable exchange rate, and new models such as the CZ Shadow 2 Target pistol and CZ Bren 3 rifle.
