International festival Jazz Goes to Town opens in Hradec Králové
The 31st edition of the international festival Jazz Goes to Town opens on Tuesday in Hradec Králové. Running through Saturday, October 11, it will feature around 50 musicians from 12 countries, organizers announced. Concerts will take place at five venues across the city — including Petrof Gallery and the Bio Central cinema. The festival kicks off in Petrof Gallery on Tuesday evening with trumpeter and composer Štěpánka Balcarová’s project Emotions, performed in its original Czech-Polish lineup.
