Local referendums held alongside general elections

Local referendums will take place alongside the general elections in forty municipalities. Nearly half of the plebiscites will address the planned construction of wind turbines. Other issues on local ballots include the operation of a municipal restaurant, landfill and incinerator projects, gambling establishments, gravel mining, the construction of a sports hall, a high-speed railway, and a senior care home.
