Czech hockey forward Kristýna Kaltounková signs three-year deal with New York Sirens in women’s pro league

Czech hockey forward Kristýna Kaltounková has signed a three-year contract with the New York Sirens in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL). She made history earlier this year as the first European ever selected with the number-one draft pick.

The 24-year-old will join a team that has finished last in each of its first two seasons. Kaltounková scored four goals in seven games at this year’s Women’s World Championship and previously played college hockey at Colgate University in the US.
