Prague will commission a study for Metro Line D from Náměstí Míru to Náměstí Republiky

The Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) will prepare a feasibility study for the future extension of the currently constructed Metro Line D from Náměstí Míru to Náměstí Republiky. This was approved on Monday by the Prague City Council. The company is currently building the first section of the new line from Pankrác to Písnice, to be followed by the section from Pankrác to Náměstí Míru, and then the final segment likely leading into the city center. Construction of that part could begin after 2037.
