Viktoria Plzeň lose in Glasgow, miss out on Champions League qualification

Viktoria Plzeň football club lost 0:3 in the opening match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League in Glasgow to the home team Rangers on Tuesday, missing out on league qualification.

Djeidi Gassama scored two goals and Cyriel Dessers scored one from the penalty spot. A rematch, in which Viktoria will need to win by at least three goals, is scheduled for next week at the Doosan Arena in Plzeň.
